Articles of Confederation

Welcome one and all to
We are a mix of everything. You could call us a PvX guild. Granted, we are new and our firm direction has not yet been set. But, I foresee a bit of leveling - the more members or Blood Fury allies who reach level, the more people we have for raids, events, etc (this should be common sense). I foresee us doing a few raids here and there and even creating alliances with other horde guilds ... and ... perhaps an alliance guild (there is something to being able to trade between factions and getting "free passes" thru hostile territory. Ultimately, I foresee Blood Fury as the type of guild where each and every member attains a level of comradery with each other, wherein "If you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!"
A Guild is only as good as its members and Blood Fury is no different. This means taking an active part in the Guild, joining in or helping to create events, grouping with other guildies on occasion, helping others with quests. Nowhere does any of that exclude soloing - if that is your thing... so be it. No one should expect anyone to drop everything and jump to the aid of anyone who asks. It is about finding the right balance which benefits you, your preferred style of play and the Guild. And never forget - this is a game. It's about having fun, creating moderate amounts of mayhem, and enjoying others around you!
Never forget that you carry the Guild's name above your head at all times, conduct yourself in a manner which will earn respect from your fellow players, not contempt. Be proud of being Blood Fury, and make those around you happy to see any of our members. Be polite to guildies and fellow travelers. Be a decent person - even if this means you have to role-play every once in a while - so be it. After-all, this is a role-playing realm! (I'm sure you can be evil and nice at the same time!)
Our reputation is what is going to help us - or hurt us. Don't spam, ninja-loot, steal or get caught up in abusive arguments that do little more than infuriate everyone and everything around - as any of this can damage a Guild's reputation. If you are a level 60 and a poor little level 6 alliance draenei hunter (accidentally touting PvP) crosses your path, you really don't have to slaughter him, camp over him, laugh and kill him again ... that's just sad. Remember when you were a level 6 noob, just trying to learn how to play the game? Cut the guy some slack.
As your Queen, I will endeavor to set only the best of examples in fair-play, consideration and courtesy. Together, let us create a guild with which we can all find pride and lasting friendships.
Tìana, Queen of Blood Fury

The creation of the Articles of Confederation
, Oct 1, 10 6:05 AM.
We have created our Articles of Confederation ... our "Constitution" if you will. Our basic guild rules, GB regulations, Ranking and advancement system/requirements/benefits, the powers of each branch of office and how disputes will be handled.
In addition, there has been some discussion about providing a "care-package"or "starter-kit" for new very low-level members. Wherein, a newbie member to the game and the guild may be offered 4 12-slot bags (similar to how a DK starts out), a free guild tarbard and 5G. This issue has been addressed within the Articles.
The decision was made to carry this gesture one step further; wherein - via the provisions of the Articles of Confederation - under certain situations, any member can petition the royal council for a given amount of financial aid. In some cases it could be a loan (must be paid back in a specific amount of time), in other cases a grant may be offered (you don't have to pay back).
Keep these ideas and notions coming!
